Would you rather invest in better content or stronger backlinks if your budget only allowed one?

If you had to choose only one due to a limited budget, where would you invest first? Would you focus on creating higher quality content or building stronger backlinks?

 

I would choose content because content is KING.

I’d put the money into content first, especially if the website is still growing. Good content gives you something valuable to promote and can attract natural links over time. Backlinks are important, but I’d rather build a strong base before paying for links, because weak content won’t get much benefit from even strong backlinks. Once the content is working, then I’d start investing more into link building.
