Would you promote products for a merchant that had an order line?

I'm just feeling really down in the dumps today. I guess this is a learning lesson for me, but yesterday I wrote ten articles for a merchant because I believed he had an excellant landing page, infact it was so good I wanted to buy the product myself. I thought I was onto a winner.

Then today I clicked the checkout link and noticed one of the payment options was 'By telephone' :( I just feel so annoyed that I wasted my day writing articles for this product. I highly doubt I would get credit for sales made by phone.

what do you lot think? do you think I should just throw up a website and promote it anyway with 10 articles or just sell them?

I think you need to give it longer than a day. Give it a week before you make your decision. :)

so you think i should test it out anyway?

I'm just annoyed because this guy doesn't even give 50% commission (slightly under) it's a high priced product but if he is sticking an order line on his page then he should be increasing the percentage payout for affiliates as it a huge flaw and only we stand to lose. It's almost like shaving sales.

Are you sure you don't get your commissions on phone orders?

I promote some products where phone orders are available and every time someone orders by phone the sales team/telephonist will get your affiliate ID. Of course it's called like activation code, VIP code or something else but not affiliate code :)
