    Of course you have to commit time/money to make money.

    But in the case of paying to join an aff program, its 99% of the time a scam.

    A good merchant understands the value of good affiliates and will do anything to attract and keep them.

    As Dristo have said, It's 99.9% a scam. I am in this industry and have heard really bad experience who paid for any affiliate program.
    Just think, why do you have to pay when you are going to help someone in his earnings ?

    There is absolutely no reason for an affiliate network to charge for new affiliates. An affiliate is a money making asset, putting them off with a fee is absurd.
