I think real followers are worth more but not the spammer accounts you will be able to buy

I wouldnt pay someone, I find twitter is pretty easy to get followers with. If you spent an hour clicking follow etc your bound to get a good 20+ followers within the next 48 hours.

I doubt the 200 the member will get you will all be genuine real twitter users. Even if they are I would rather click "follow" 200 times then pay someone $8 to do it for me.

Well, I haven't done anything more than take a quick look at Twitter and my impression is that you get people to follow you because they are interested in what you are doing. Isn't it supposed to get people to know and trust you?

If you hire others to run your account, where is the content coming from? Does it reflect you and your business?

And as someone already said, it's fun... isn't it? Well, that's what I heard.

Never seen the sense of having Twitter. Waste of time in my opinion.

Twitter can be used to build and market your brand/website and will bring traffic to your site and some times even money in used right.

In my mind, as long as you spend a little time on twitter, you will be easy to get an account with 200 followers. So it is unnecessary to pay for the account. In my opinion, you can spend some time in following some targeted friends who are interested in your site. It is more valuable than the random 200 friends you paid for.

I started outsourcing my Twitter management as part of the admin tasks of my virtual staff. This runs on a regular basis and the ones that she's posting are all links and good reads from my market while I still put on my personal tweets inside. She also does the bulk following and unfollowing so my followers will all be targeted and reciprocated easily. That way, I gain much followers easier everyday.

Also, creating 7-10 tweets daily (3 of them could be personal ones) may prevent you from looking spammy. :)
