Trading stocks are very normal amongst ordinary people this days, but they use to sit on the stocks for ages, whats the excitement about that ? My secret dream is to be a day/week/month trader

If i had that money, and it was expendable, i might, because i've always wanted to dabble in the stock market. Alas, i don't have 10% of that amount at the minute + the stock market is always a risk.
