Would you pay for this?...

After a period of [white hat] SEO work, one of my web sites is in Google Top 5.

    THE QUESTIONS

    1. Would you pay for a detailed SEO work report from where you would understand how I achieved this position?
    2. How much would you pay for such a report? [Expected price range: $20-50.]

How much time did you take to get to that position your site is currently at?

In this case, we can talk about a 6 month period.

I wouldnt no, the site im working on now is page 1 for around 2,500 different keyphrases in 3 months.

Some newbie might though. Mind sharing the keyword/phrase?

I think there is room for negotiation. And final price would be accepted of who is less needy. ;)

Would you pay for such a report? If "yes", how much?

I would pay $20 and if there were hit reviews from your customers then I would raise the price to $50-$80 range

Just curious, so you would pay someone $20 who got 1 keyword in the top 5 after 6 months and won't say what the keyword was.

What would you pay someone who got 2,500 keyphrases in to page 1 after only 3 months, and some are competative 1/4 billion result terms?

If it was a popular keyword then I think that MANY people would pay for it.

No they are not very popular keywords.

    --------------------------------------

I think that such a report would be interesting as I would do in it what NO ONE does: I would talk about a S.E.O. success example giving all the details.

Hmm ok, i really didn't think people would spend any real money on such a report anymore. The markets just been saturated with junky ebooks, how to's and snake oil potions over the years i though they would look at it like "oh not another one".

Even some of the more popular SEO ebooks i look at and think, how can they get away with selling this rubbish.

You're right. I wouldn't pay for crappy stuff, too.

BUT... what if my case wouldn't be that case? I mean, what if my report would be 100% honest and relevant?...

It's not that, i have no doubt you would be honest. It's just so many people have bough similar things in the past and regreted it, but i guess new people come along all the time.

Just make sure if you start something like this you have a sound knowledge and background in SEO, and the results wern't a "one off" and it's a proven method that works on competative keyphrases.

It is not about tools. It is about an accurate S.E.O. report.
