Somebody is offering me $50 to put my site on top of propeller.com. Do you think this is effective than buying traffic?
by the way, what type of site you're running for? propeller.com have a nice traffic but i don't think it will be effective. Just try for one-two month and you will know the result.
Depends if your site is related to anything on propeller.com - If visitors are going to propeller for a particular reason and your site has NOTHING to do with it you won't get much traffic from it.
Not that you can do it, but why would anyone pay you $50 to put your site on top there? And next to word of mouth, nothing is more effective than buying traffic, advertising.
There's no harm in trying. But why not spend your 50$ for other things like hiring a linkbuilder who will submit your site to tons of directories and social bookmarking sites?
Social news network interesting, if you could get a spot on the top of propeller home page for $50 a month I would do it in an instant you would get huge traffic. Though I feel mrandrei has a point to though I never hire a link builder since I am registered with all the social bookmarking sites and have already submitted to thousands of directories, but building good links and having excellent site content that is well seod is the best way to get traffic. Also I am beginning to believe time is also an important factor.
Propeller can give you a lot of traffic but you have to ask yourself if that person could be trusted. what methods are he using?
This a little risky method but if it works then you get very good targeted traffic. I think you should give it a try.
Find out if propeller has a demographics report for you. Seeing as you are already spending $35 let us know how it goes.
