"Now"!! So you were strong in English some days back!! Let's start talking. What do you want to talk about?
@ plumni, you should get on Skype. There are plenty of people out there who will talk to you - especially people who are learning Mandarin or Cantonese.
I am agree with Kerosene.. I am also poor in english. Now i am using skype to communicate other people and learn how to speak and correct my grammar..
You could also download paltalk at www.paltalk.com. They have a section for people wanting to learn english
How I will know the people out there who will talk to me - especially people who are learning Mandarin or Cantonese? Is there anyone believe that it is my first time to login in English forum?
Lets start the lesson. You wrote "would you like to talk with me?" It should be like this " Would you like to talk to me?" not talk with me. Nothing wrong with it except grammar.
If you are very serious about English grammar, then it is time to attend some contact classes or online courses. But I think your present knowledge is sufficient to convey your thoughts to others in forums and other chat rooms
Take an online English tutorial that will help you as well. Good luck plumni Im sure you'll be more confident after taking English lessons.
I am poor in English now.Would you like to talk with me?Would you like to correct it? You should've said: I am not good at speaking English, anymore. Would anyone like to help me with it? You're welcome to add me on MSN, and I can help you
I really don't like having to talk to people who can't speak English that well. People who can get their points accross pretty well whilst not speaking perfectly is fine, but if they can't do that then I get annoyed inside my head...sometimes outside too. I'd love to correct people like that everytime they make a mistake, but that would be annoying, to me and the other person, i'd probably get beaten with sticks everytime it happens (not to say that all non-english people would beat me with sticks, but you get the point).
I don't mind if he/she doesn't speak English well . Actually I am still learning English and making progress.
