Would you like the idea of your mobile phone no. going public

Well, recently, I have learned that The Department of Telecommunication , here in India is about to allow our mobile phone to go public. I mean it will be listed in the directory containing cellphone numbers.

Would you like the idea of your mobile phone number, to go public?.

 

I think that'd suck. You could always buy a prepaid phone, then nobody would be able to list your number to the public

 

I really don't care. Meh...

 

Thats stupid, mobile phone numbers public, if they tried that in England then people would go mental, we'd get the conservatives in, they wouldnt allow that to happen. And how can they keep tabs on mobile phone numbers surely they would keep changing person so it'd be a right mess.

We are ok in the UK as we dont have to pay for incomming calls although I still prefer my number not to be listed. If this happened in the US it would suck I am not sure if incomming calls in India are charged for.

 

Well I will never share my cell number and in India its not good because lots of people harras you by making offers to buy something.

 

I really wouldn't want that duw to the number of unwanted calls ot messages I will be getting.

 

I do not like that my mobile number to go public. As telecallers are calling when you are doing something important.

 

I would hate to have my number go public. You dont want to be barged by a string of telecalls.
