Would you lend money to your mother to buy drugs?

P.S. My mom doesn't do drugs. Well.... I mispoke.. she averages about 1 wine cooler every 6 months. Oh and coffee.

 

No, I wouldnt. I love and respect my mum so I would get help for her, not give her money to harm/abuse her body even more.

My mum always said "if you're old enough to buy drugs, you're old enough to get a job".

So i got a job, and it really installed a hard working ethic in me. I am still a hard worker (though I am highly anti-drug, three friends of mine have died through taking drugs. One of the guys i was in a band with and pretty close to)

Anyway, if she wants drugs she has to pay for them.

In an ideal world people shouldn't take drugs, but unfortunately we live in a far from perfect world

haha, so true. I guess I would lend mine money to buy something that would cheer her up (since she is sometimes sad), maybe marijuana. But on the other hand I think it's completely stupid to waste money to buy drugs, if she wants them she has to grow them.

I am really saddened to see some of these replies ..

My mother is the very first person who ever loved me , the first person I have ever loved!
Although things havent always been rosey in our home , my mom has always been my best friend.

I have to turn those table around first...

How many times did my mother tolerate me and sacrifice for me.
How much did I put her through in life as a now 40 year old man!

I love my mother and I would go to hell and back for her ...

So the answer isnt a simple one ... but I know one thing
I would find a way to help my mother until my dying breath!

Would I find some way or continuosly try to find ways to help her? Yes

I am suprised how much smarter my mother is now - cause when I was younger I knew everything - and she didnt know squat!

Its amazing how much she has caught up to me now - lol

 

If my mother was an addict, I would buy her drugs.

I would slowly give her lower and lower doses until she eventually quits. I know that taking people off drugs immediately messes them up so much. Most give up and go back to "just a hit" now and then and become addicted yet again.

Wow, Mr Crow. I am so ashamed I called my mom a hoe earlier in this thread. I borke out in tears reading your post, and am going to call her right now to tell how how much I love her and all that she means to me.

I just hope the b*tch doesn't try to borrow money again.
