Hey yall. I am considering offering private website hosting and could offer the following. I am just trying to get some feedback on if there would be any interest for this at all or if i am just wasting my time. The nice thing about this is that it would be private and you would not have to go through the huge companies and loop holes and contracts and deal with stupid customer service and pain in the butt support or downtimes and stuff. Would love yalls thoughts. hmm, can you actually offer 300 GB of disk space to people withOUT overselling? other then that it looks like a decent deal
Sounds good, I personally do not touch any hosting unlimited this or that because that always ends up bogging the poop out of the system.
Thank you both for your response. Yes I do believe I can offer that...but I do not want to scare anyone away by offering toooo much and sounding unrealistic. In yalls opinion what would be a good space/bandwidth for the price?...maybe just put 50gb with more available for free upon request
50GB sounds a bit more reasonable, especially for the price. Make sure what you provide is quality, that way you can raise the price in the future when you have a good reputation.
How about the customer service? Client does need a 24/7 live helpdesk when they face problem with hosting.
Better than a dedi server or VPS is a VPS in the cloud. See http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=13062013&postcount=1 for all info. I can also link you with happy DP customers if you want. Kind regards, vahing
