Would you hate your brother if he converted to Islam?

Since so many people here seem to hate Muslims (judging by the endless threads of hate), I was wondering if you would start hating your own brother or a member of your family if they converted to Islam.

 

No, and I wouldn't hate my own brother (if I had one) if he started shooting up heroine, which would be pretty much the same thing. Two dreamworlds, both deadly.

when you are muslim killing one life is similar to killing 1000 life, so that would not matter. And why would you assume that by becoming a muslim he would become a mass murderer?

Actually, the hate comes from the acts that are discussed. For example, muslims stoning others for being raped or adultery. muslims committing terrorist acts, chopping off heads. scriptures that call for the death of infidels. scriptures that inform us muslims will kill a Jew in order to get to heaven. muslims referring to women as meat. muslims preaching death to infidels in video exposes from mosques in the UK.

The problem is, *some* don't believe *these things* are the hatred. Somehow, they've managed to convince themselves that being aware of such is the hatred.

NO, i wouldn't hate my brother if he get converted in islam. Brother is brother, religion is religion. Religion depends on what good you do.

I dont think that religion can break the relation.

Can't possibly imagine my bro converting to Islam, as i know him pretty damn well.
But if, in some case, he did - and Islam actually would help him become a better, peaceful man - i'd have no problem with that.
On the other hand, if it doesn't, i'd have endless discussions with him about it.

He didn't deny it, though revised his view that 90% of Muslims are radicalised. I'm still waiting for a link to any report confirming this.

Nope, I believe them and believe they are hatred. However isolating the entire muslim faith based on the actions of a few is exactly what the terrorists want to do.

But then I guess that sort of thing suits fundamentalist Christians just as well.
