Would you go and change all the anchor text of your links?

    The situation is that many of my links have wrong anchor text on it and the links do not have a www in it, well that makes the quality of links go wrong. most of the links are from directories and i am not sure i can change them all.

    so, i think the best would be to keep submiting to directories and sites with the correct the anchor, etc. and leave what is there as is.

    Right?

    If there are links that you could modify than modify them, the rest .. well you know about the rest. But there is nothing wrong in having backlinks with different keywords in anchor text, even if it is simply the domain name URL, it gives that nature of "natural" linking in Googles eyes/petals.

    I think its best to submit it to the directories...yeah....you are changing the anchor text you said? I don't think that should affect the ranking...if you got good keyword enriched anchor text ....then I think it will up your ranking for sure....
