bum marketing is still and always will be an effective way to get traffic and sales! internet is base on information and information is written in articles, so you see article marketing (bum marketing) is very effective. The only problem with this marketing method is that you must consistly submit articles to dominate the niche you are in. About ranks or SERPS. this is totally different concept, the SERP is determed by the number of backlinks! so if you link your articles to your landing page, there is a good chance that your landing page will rank well on the search engines. ezinearticles has over 1million subscribers, this is where the views comes from. Some are also comming from the search engines, because this article website is a PR5 or PR6. but as you said, many people submit articles and this rank will soon desappear... but the backlinks will remain for ever! and about your other question, will I hire a full time article writer. well....somethimes I do hire gostwriters but not for full time, for some small projects. Because I have a full time job, and CB is my part-time job. So some weekends when I busy I tend to hire some article writer here in DP.
