You should get references or check itrade for posters. That way you know how well they post and how much they have posted. I do a fair bit of posting, so many people know me.

personally I would say dont pay him.

whenever I get paid to post I see it as a general rule to not copy other websites content.

I am in total agreement that this is an unethical practice in the FORUM community. A forum is to discuss and inform as opposed to blogging which just directs interested people to interesting places.

I have a friend here in DP who constantly nags me that I spend too much time researching and writing the posts I do because most of the ones of his I see on forums we are both in is copy/paste from articles with (usually) just one sentence of his opinion on the matter. I can't do that and still look at myself in the mirror (even though I sometimes catch myself making maybe 20-30 cents an hour)

Unfortunately, unless you specifically say don't copy/paste they could have you on a technicality. That's why this society is so full of contracts and litigation.

Thanks for letting us know who it was (fortunately not my above mentioned friend) so we can avoid this ourselves and I hope he/she/it does not try retaliation against you.

    Best of luck,
(Mr. "can't answer a yes or no question in 25 words or less")

Does anyone have a link to guidelines for such a posting? You know... when you hire someone to write a post, what should you include...?

    Thanks.

    Tapantico,

Is there some reason that you haven't left feedback for this user yet? Just curious because it appears he is at it again. I thought it was your duty to tell the community about the fraud, yet I see no i-trader from you in his i-trader area.

Poster "etiquette" should be that you already KNOW not to copy work and put it on another site, especially when you are being a paid poster! Ask them to redo the work that is copied.

Some posters don't even go to the trouble of finding content that has anything to do with the forum. I've posted on several forums that had the same ten new threads, regardless of the topic ('what your job?' showed up a lot) or fifteen word posts that said, essentially, 'I agree'.

Since there are so many webmaster forums, some people have a whole set of threads and posts that they use over and over. It's not obvious unless you are posting on the same forums.

Well, really bad to see that some poeple are ruining this Paid Posting Business.

I would really prefer you to post Him and his services here so that each and every member may get know of his company and should avoid it.

Hope you will not get this negative but this step should be taken to let other members aware of his services.

    This is really funny.

Last week, I posted a job for an ebook writer and he responded. I gave him the job.

We'll today I received the ebook and he copied most of the information from other websites.

He refunded by deposit which was a good gesture.

He has a decent itrader and enough posts to be considered legit so I understand why you made the decision to choose him.

I wouldn't pay him a dime for his services. You cannot copy someone elses content and paste it on your site. Its okay to rewrite but you cannot copy and paste. Its against the law.

I don't think many people who hire writers really investigate the finished product as far as plagiarism is concerned. All articles and ebooks received should be carefully, carefully checked on the Web. Its unfortunate that many writers' +1 itrader ratings may be an uncaught lie.

This might help. Some articles I have written on PPS.

Questions and Research for Paid Posting Service

    Paid Posting Service Articles

And like suggested do not pay. And delete all posts. If you have paid prior to posting. Yes do a chargeback. You have 45 days to do so. Unless they have a (TOS)Terms of Service. Most Paid Posting Services do not have one.
