    Hey fellow DPers,

    I am in a huge dilemma.

    Recently I was charged $800 for coding of a script and I wanted to know how much I could sell it for.

    It is a text messaging script that can send to over 200 mobile companies. Very lightweight. No installation. Simply upload and run.

    The graphics are being designed right now, so once that is complete I will have a demo for you guys.

    Thanks,

    ALSO, would it be beneficial if I sell it on DP, at a reduced cost?

    Thanks,
    Coincidence

    I would want to see an example of the script. Also, what differentiates it from other similar scripts.

    Afterhim,

    Yeah I will be adding once I get a few graphics designed for the script.

    Also, the main differences between my script and [leading] competitors are;
    - ease of installation
    - much, much larger mobile carrier support (over 200)

    For instance, chickensms, which is also being offered here for $20 only has 20 supporting carriers.

    I have that AND 180 more.

    On top of that, my design is 100% fully customizable.

    P.S. I like your location; "There's no place like 127.0.0.1"

    What are your competition charging, that would give you a rough idea.

    It is kind of annoying you have to manually select the carrier as often times you don't know the carrier of the person you are messaging.

    I've seen SMS tools that don't make you choose, so there must be some way to do a reverse lookup on a number to find the numbers carrier.

    We actually tried to do something similar but it gets a bit more complicated because for example;

    If I live in Toronto and I have 647 area code; many carriers carry the area code as well as the first three numbers following.

    Thus creating it a bit more complicated. This way we have created leaves absolutely no room for error.

    Thanks for your comment,

    hey Coincidence, would it be possible to send the text message to multiple phone numbers at the same time? We are a marketing company so would be very interested in a script that would do that... PM me if you need more info...
