If you knew of a trademarked company name (a pretty decent one, not too popular in the US) who'se .net was still available, would you buy it?
Nope. Even if you don't know that a name is a TM you are still open to a UDRP case. If I remember right the max fine is $250,000 USD
I figured as much. This one would be the equivalent of owning something like fujifilm.net. I thought it would be a good part of the "collection", even though I can't even park it. Funny when a somewhat big company doesn't register their own .net! Thanks for the feedback.
Simple answer NO if the name is atleast little bit generic (though its a trademark) i might stepin if .com is available (through expired domain or something) and their site sits on .net.
