would you buy a 2 character domain name?

    I don't have $10,000 for a domain name.

    I was only interested in it because of it being my birth year.

    As you can probably tell I don't know much about domain names :)

    It's not like "73" means anything to anyone other than someone born in 1973, e.g., Sabic. So why should the owner think he can get 10,000? Now if it were u2.com, then he can probably get 10,000,000 :)

    It is definately a great deal at $1,000... it could be worth $10,000 to the right company.

    He may contact you down the road about your $1,000 offer if he doesn't sell it as quick as he would like to.
