Yes. It's true. I knew about Commission Junction quite a long time ago but never did anything about it. It's time for a change and CJ might just be the right change for me. I would appreciate some tips in what to look out for in the negatives and the positives. A question: Is there any good reason why CJ does not accept Paypal as a payou option? Thanks for all comments. Col
In comparison, I joined CJ before I found out about DP Kind of wish I started a few years earlier though. Good luck to both of you!
It's not a bad program. I make a couple of bucks here and there with it. I really need to learn how to improve that, though.
I just got started myself. Actually, I had an account a long time ago but never did anything with it. I'm blogging about the experience so far at http://frogmonkey.wordpress.com/ So far, I've just gone through the process of setting up a few links and an ad rotation script. It's a much slower process than with adsense, but hopefully it will be a lot more lucrative.
Did you check out click bank also ? May interest you. Expect nothing but bad support from CJ. They are notorious in not giving support when you ask for it.
Strange. I've had nothing but good experience with support. Although... They were closed during business hours today for a company function. I found that a bit strange.
Well pros and cons for CJ in my experience of 9 months or so. Pros - 1. Always pay on time and with no fuss. 2. Large base of products to promote. 3. They have the ebay affiliate account. Cons - 1. Stats reporting is nearly always out of date and not in real time. 2. Its not always clear how to find a particular merchant. 3. Takes them ages to answer emails. 4. Some affiliate managers never answer emails. Thats my experience with CJ. Good luck Col in your new affiliate enterprise.
