Would you abolish non-consensual psychiatry, the insanity defense, civil commitment, and psychiatric slavery? Do you embrace both freedom and personal responsibility?

Not really , tone it down maybe but definitely not abolish it completely . A damaged mind is a a damaged mind after all and not all damage is visible on a MRI or PET scan .

Who gets to define damage though? That is a dangerous game. Communists at times have defined it as not agreeing with the one ruling party and have used psychiatry as a means of "curing" those who would disagree.

the only thing is that we just follow the law, conduct through research and investigation if it is really necessary to abolish it or not. But i think there are several victims because of this case didn't given any justice.

I make it mandatory for all the right-wing Republicans instead. Why else should some one support war and killing of innocent people, denying health care to sick people, opposing helping homeless and fight prison reforms because they get pleasure of thinking about prisoners getting sodomized? :D

Dr. Szasz notes that the answer is more of a moral one than a scientific one.
