I think it's fair to scam him back for $47. Aslong as you don't go off scamming innocent people then i see no problem.

dont scam without solid proof... sure it feels absolutely crap getting scammed, but... Why would you want to make someone else feel like that...

meh, personally I have a conscience... unless i could prove it 100%, i'd at very least worry about what people thought of me for doing it... then my conscience wouldnt let me either...

meh.. i do understand where you're coming from, but I believe everyone has an equal right to fair justice... FAIR justice.

Wish this coulda been sorted out in an adult manner... Oh well! That's the internet for ya'!

If you have something of his, and your not paying for it, you are the scammer. You cant steal from him, just because you think he might be a scammer. Either return the GC, or pay him.

Another thing my mother used to tell me, thats kept me out of a lot of problems is "two wrongs dont make a right:

no feedback yet qisahn? why dont you pay me or show proof that I really scammed you. You are the real scammer here for not paying for what you got already from me. You dont have proof and you are branding me as scammer. What a shame.

Qisahn, you have 2 iTrader points while namemeone has 10 iTrader points.

at the moment you admit that you took his gift card certificate without paying for it.

Between the two of you, I cannot say anything about namemeone except that he gave you a gift card in advance without demanding payment upfront, but your behavior looks very shady at this point. I would suggest you to refund him his money and not further deal with him if you wish not to. That'd be the only ethical decision.

yeah I could agree with you for that. If you dont want to deal with me its fine. But pay for what you got from me. You are the scammer here. And where is your proof that you donated the $47?
