Would this work?

    Hey I thought about buying targeted traffic to my hoplink. Would this work? I mean I only need a conversion rate of 0.1% to make double profits.

    You may be making wrong calculations. Maybe you need to re-calculate considering how much you'll make per sale and what's the average cost per click for the keywords you're going to use? You may need to test and tweak your campaign until you have a winner. If you have enough risk-money, done enough research and are willing to devote the time required for running and optimizing the campaign, then you should proceed and see what happens! Good luck.

    Yes, 0.01 sounds very too good to be true... Also really depends on the traffic source - with a solid source like Google PPC then yes, but from you only needing 0.01% to convert I guess you have been bitten by the dream of getting cheap traffic from other sources - 10,000 hits for $7.99 type thing - traffic exchanges, paid to surf programs? If so then I doubt you will make many / any sales - pay per view traffic is awful, theyre just not buyers.... if you really do only need 0.01% conversion rate to profit though then why ask about it here, give it a try :)

    Thanks for the advice, I'll give AdWords PPC a shot. By targeted traffic I meant 1000 hits for $8. The product is $24 dollars with 75% commission. So I meant I would be $10 profit per sale if I get a sale of 1 in a thousand. But I guess your right, if they had that good targeted traffic they wouldn't be selling it.

    Yeah, 1000 hits for $24 is ridiculous - if you think that $24 would get you 24-48 hits from google, then its easy to see that this traffic is not the same quality.

    I block affilaites who send me this junk, it is totally worthless - there are no real short cuts like this sadly.
