Hi I personally think this is a good keyword, what is your view on this? [window air conditioner] --> 74.000 exact searches in google for June allintitle:"window air conditioner" --> 33.600 results Would this be a good keyword to make a microsite for? I mean would it be hard to get it ranked you think? Greetz smetten
The competition for this keyword in google -window air conditioner is 963000. and direct competition is 372000. Ill say it is easy to rank. By easy i still mean minimum 2-3 months ok. And its popularity per month is 246,000 in google, 127,920 in Yahoo, 66,420 in MSN.. Dude.. go 4 it.. good keyword..definetly not hard to rank for..
my dear friend... competition in google (pages that have the word in the title, and are most likely to be optimized for it) is actually 33.500 for me (allintitle:"window air conditioner"). I don´t know where you get your number of searches per month but this tool(https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) works best for me. For exact search it actually says 74,000 exact searches for this keyword for the month of june on google. Greetz smetten
iv posted Global Monthly Search Volume for all 3 search engines..using spacky.com & not local search volume.. i use google adwords too.. and result is shows me are: window air conditioner Local search volume June - 673,000 Global Monthly Search Volume - 246,000 Does this have anything to do wid geographical location??? And i dont find the competition by the no of pages that have the word in the title, i see the number of sites coming up for d "keyword". m i doin smthng wrong? whys adword results differnt?
If your content is good and relevant, as should your links be, Google will place you. It's not about the amount of competition for the key word, it's the quality of the sites competing.
It's actually hyper-competitive, and would require at least 2-3 years of "brute force SEO" in order to rank well for it. Oh, and kiss your fake signature link goodbye.
I think this is not very competitive keyword. I bought an ebook from someone here on DP. I implemented the guide and I got top 10 on google about a week.
Then your thinking is flawed. It has a LOT of Web pages that are optimized for that keyword phrase. And the sites those pages are on have very strong, dynamic and healthy link profiles. Seriously - this is like the Fort Knox of keywords in its niche.
The competition of keyword really matters, but what you need to emphasize most is the quality of your web site. And also, if the competition is very low, even if you have a high ranking, it will not have any sense
excuse me?? Fake Signature link??? Just bcoz d site was down for some time doesnt make it fake.. Think b4 u spoil somebodys rep..
kittuk, a "fake signature link" is a link that appears OUTSIDE of the designated signature area. It's an infractionable (and even bannable) offense here at Digital Point, and it will get you in trouble. Speaking of trouble, if you want to include the link in all of your posts, save yourself that headache and just go here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/profile.php?do=editsignature
Nick, as soon as the spreadsheet has been formatted, I'll send it out to you. I'll also include some data from Bing/Yahoo! and Ask.com if I don't forget. (Only so much I can guarantee for free, you know.)
