Would this generate extra income with Amazon?

A thought just came to me when I was brainstorming about Amazon Stores.

If I'm drop-shipping on Amazon, with a product that only I'm selling as it comes from only the country I'm based it, and I'm doing quite well with it.. If I start a Niche site with Amazon Affiliate with the item or an Amazon Store with the item, and start selling it through that, Would I earn my commission through that on top of what I make in Amazon?

Feel free to shoot this idea down, it just came to me then and I have no idea..

I will say anything with your affiliate id in it and as long as the products are purchased from your affiliate id will earn you a commission.. There are people that have more than 5 sites making money with Amazon.. It just depends on how you sale the products, so I will say make your sure you have good content.. Hope this helps..

I think this is actually possible. But won't you be paying amazon actually, in the mean time for the services...?

Why don't you stop selling on amazon and concentrate on selling on your site and make it popular..?

Yes you will earn the commission... however that may be taken off your earnings via Amazon. I don't know what fees they charge.
