Hi, I have a PR 3 blog with about 400 pages and 2000 links. I am going away for 2 weeks to Myrtle Beach with my family, while I am gone I want to post some articles from Ezine and/or Isnare and give credit to the aucthor, I won't be stealing them I will be republishing them with the authors name and all the author Bio box attached. My question is will this hurt my ranking and make MY ENTIRE site duplicate content? How does this work and would it hurt my site? Thanks.....
I don't think republishing other articles will help you, there is chances that you will get supplement results, better if you write yourself or as suggested, hire someone to write for you.
Hi, That sounds really good! Why don't you hire someone to write it for you? Anyways have nice holiday with your family. Bye, Ketunchy.
Duplicating content ( even if you credit the author) will have some _ve effect. Your best bet would be to get the articls rewritten and then schedule publish it.
I have read recently that duplicate content only means 'duplicate on the same website'. All article directories have duplicate content, but they are not penalised. Barb
Having a few articles from other sources will not hurt your site. You can put YOUR own title as the post title and put an introductory paragraph introducing the article, then put the article with the authors bio box and then your own closing statement. That always helps out.
I would hire someone to write say 20 articles while you are gone. Do you have a laptop where you can check on the progress and keep in touch with client?
