Would this be considered spam?

I have galleries on my site where the picture thumb goes to the bigger pic, but I also want to put text links on the gallery that also goes to the bigger pic so it just isn't image links, so would be 'persons name picture 1' 'persons name picture 2' etc below the image links.

Would that be ok seeing as it does goto actual relevant content?

Borderline spam if you ask me. Just use ALT IMG text it achieves the same thing.

Thats not spam. In fact, it may benefit you.

 

I agree with BILZ - it's not spam, and in fact, many of the most popular sites on the Internet use this strategy.
