Would temporary site mis-redirection affect the PR and SERP?

    Hello! All:

I have a website which have been running for 8 months. Due to the poor service of my hosting company, a couple of weeks ago, they mis-redirected my site to a totally ir-relevant site (toy car) for 1 day.

During this day, I have successfully changed my hosting company to Siteground, a more reliable more.

However, later I found in Google Webmaster tool, all the records of my external links disppeared. Although I believe Google will re-index my site, my question is: does this accident affect the PR and SERP of my site?

    Thanks a lot in advance

What is your site URL? I can example the indexed data and see if it has changed. I wouldn't worry about it to much, if your PR and SERPs haven't changed by now you got nothing to worry about.

    Things to do just incase...

    1. Create a new XML sitemap.
    2. Put a link to this sitemap on your homepage. (the bottom is fine)
    3. Create a robots.txt file pointing to the xml sitemap file.
    4. Re-submit your sitemap in google webmasters central.

You might want to review my guide I wrote on DP at the URL below..
