I've noticed Adsense on a game that I've been playing. http://www.inselkampf.co.uk/ Does stuff like that pay well? Also, is the guy breaking the TOS? There's page with nothing but adsense on it after you log in.
How does he gets any ads if there's nothing else on the page? I think he is breaking the TOS, as it is stated that you should put adsense only on pages with content.
How does adsense bot get the content of a page if you have to register to get past?? I dont understand how adsense, and also indexing of pages could work?? Can somebody clear this up for me?
I think it uses the URL to derive the adverts. Also, the URLs are probably accessible to bots - they'll just display something different if you aren't logged in. The site seems to display Poker ads even though it isn't about Poker. fcmisc.
Only 1 page (homepage) is listed at google. All the pages of the site are for registered users. I have registered just to check and make sure. They have adsense on totally blank pages (after registration page). And they spam by pulling casino, medicine, etc. related ads. This site is 100% against Google Adsense TOS. PERIOD
Well... I think that I must say that: google ads spider isn't the only way allowing google ads to mach ads to site content! Ho do I know that? Quite simple. On my webboard there is a number of forums that any spider has no access to. Why they do not have access? Because logged users without right can't even see links to them. Spiders are not registered, they have to right, so they have no idea about existence of those forums. Even if they would know url's to them, whey would only see: "No access". yet, AdSense ads are displayed on those forums, and showed ads depend on hidden forums and topics content. So... how AdSense knows keywords? I'm not sure, but most probably: when page that isn't spidered by adsense robot is accessed fot the first time, AdSense Script is taking page snapshot, anylyzes keywords and viola, AdSense can match ads to hidden site content. Another fact that supports my thesis: when I access page that I've created a few seconds before (firs access), only PSA is displayed. But If I refresh my page, proper ads are displayed. Last fact: AdSense is displaying ads even on pages on my local HTTP Server (127.0.0.1). My computer is behind NAT and my local http port isn't accessible from outside NAT. So how spider can access my local http server? It can not!!!!
