Would someone mind taking a look at my Landing Page

hi guys,

had about 300 hops, and no sales, but what's worse is my bounce rate is about 78%

i've tried various styles above the fold as i obviously want people to slip and slide on through- but not happening.

Any pointers would be most welcome,

Headline isn't catchy enough, remember ask a question and instill some doubt in your headline. Also I would work on your call to action phrases.

call to action phrases- new to this- you mean like, "download know before free sessions expires" - something like that?

 

outch! 78% bounce rate... try using Red/White instead of Green/Red. It worked for my google ads
also fill up the site a lil with more content, maybe place google ads on it.

 

First of all spend some little bit of cash to get a top level domain.
Second collect their email adresses and build your list. For example you could give away a free ebook with twohundred italian phrases for everyday life.
Third also important is your traffic. Write some reviews on the product, submit it to ezinearticles and use adwords to bit on keywords like buy rocket italian languages, rocket italian languages review, Rocket italian languages and so on.

I think you are definitely using the wrong colors - that green is hard on the eyes.

 

Page is not too good, but Rocket Italian I believe has a few landing pages in the affiliate section I'm sure your better off using them or just direct linking to the page. The Rocket Languages usually sell pretty well.

I think the main problem is the colors and effectiveness of the catch phrases so take the advice given to you on this thread.

However, do not take the advice of putting adsense on your site. You want people to click on your link, not on ads! You're just driving away potential customers.

 

change the color combo and add more content.. It makes it look more professional

thats a great idea, should have done this earlier- i take it this is just an html code i paste in then set up an automated service to deliver the 200 tips etc- i need a domain for this right? I do have a generic domain i dont use, articleinfotips(dot)- because i've done quite a few EA's plus other articles + SB + yahoo answers + forums etc with the tumblr(dot)com url- can i somehow hijack my articleinfotips.com domain to use with this- not sure really what i'm doing here.

I do have about 15 EA' up, been up for about a two weeks, really, really low conversion or even views, as opposed to something like runcaronwater for example. With regards to including the keywords "rocket language", EA wouldn't allow me to include the product name in the article body- even though it has for other products- had o long ongoing spat with them about this- anyway will pump out some more- cheers

Remove the page elements and you've got yourself a landing page, the only thing missing would be a proper domain.

just copied and pasted it into html on tumblr to see, but just showed the above code,

like i said, got quite a few articles and links out there, so want to try and keep url or transfer it to another domain somehow.

 

actually, after a rethink- and 2 months in this game, IM's slowly becoming clearer so putting together a real decent website is the way forward I feel.

I'm getting a couple of sales here and there with a couple of squidoo's here, some tumblrs there and some bloggers, ezines, articles set up etc, but i'm a bit all over the place at the moment and need to tighten it all up.

So gona focus on rocket language. I already have some small campaigns running for 4 languages, so gona bring it all together under my own domain, as suggested ealier. Get optins set up for each language with free tips etc automated. Build up my backlinks bigtime and have my site tightly set up with keyword phrases. Build up say 30 sub domain article pages and have say 4 pages heavily backlinked pointing back to main page.

I think this is the right way to go if i want to be taken seriously by google seo and customers and its long term. Should be able to pour heart and soul into it for next 2 months say- article writings and site articles gona take up a fair bit of that.

Just one question really.

Was thinking of retrying my hand at dreamweaver again, or does anyone recommend an easier approach. Want it to be my own baby. Plus i take it i can redirect all my existing url's to my new domain- ?

Any other tips would be wicked!!!

I'd change the colour scheme. Its very dark, and a lighter background might work better. Check out the display using Firefox. In my browser, the text does not display correctly in the middle section and on the right side the text cannot be scrolled to see below "I was quietly ...". Otherwise maybe center the Italian Boxed image, and remove the page 1 of 1 to tidy it up visually.

 

I know, just playin around with it at the moment- seeing different themes- what your commenting on is a shocking theme- tumblr does nark me a bit cos as its name states, the modules just tumble around as you constantly update them, you can't organize them yourself unless you organize your html yourself, cheers though.
