I've created a site which deals with the condition of man boobs and the causes. As part of getting the ranking up I've been posting to numerous blogs about one particular field which is whats involved in the surgery aspect of eliminating this condition and of course putting the link back to my site on it. I've used the one template for all my blogs in regards to the surgery. What I would like to know is, would my main site which has a completely different write up to the blogs be penalized? And how does it effect the rankings on the blogs and ezine sites and would that effect how well my site does in Google?
Since noone seems to be able to help in regards to my question where in the digital forum would it be better suited for someone who may be able to shed some light on my query.
You're asking if the same site template being used on multiple sites will effect your ranking? I'd assume that it won't, because think about wordpress blogs. Other than the CSS code and content, the layouts are all identical, and some of them rank very well. I'd assume that if the sites have unique content, then you should be fine.
Ok I'll ask it a different way then. I've submitted the same article to 3 different websites, wordpress, articlebase, ezines ad all pointing back to my site. But my site has unique content and not at all identical to the article submitted. Would this have any bearing on my actual site or effect it's ranking?
No problem regarding same template used for multiple nlogs or sites. But content should be different.
