At http://newstwit.com/ , we have created a news aggregator based upon news tweets. They are colleged, sorted, and organized into narrower, more specific interest channels (currently there are 122 of these channel tailored to what users want). They are also updated in real-time and connect back to the original tweet or article posting. The impetus behind this site was to bring some sanity to the potential information overload out there. This way you can follow a channel of news in a specific area that is relevant and interesting to you . . . . . We are still adding some new news channels and reorganizing the current news channels to continue to keep it clean and concise, yet thorough and comprehensive. We are in the in the middle of an iphone app for it and look to go Newstwit 2.0 this summer. I would love it very much if any of you could take a glance and let us know exactly what you think . . . . On my iPhone there is a gap and it says "other"in black. The gap is from the cities/states to jut above the search bar. I like everything else!
