    GorillaMask.net or ClipsArchive.com

Looking for something like that in terms of presentation and functionality.

Have only some HTML experience, all this PHP stuff is new for me. I downloaded Joomla, can't seem to get it running on my PC, looks like I need to upload to a server.

Is Joomla a good idea? What host should I use...

Sorry for the lack of orientation in my questions its just been hours that I'm going in circles... LOL

Any advice would be really appreciated. If someone could just tell me to take a deep breath and tell me what I should do first so I can have some sort of process in getting a site like this online.

    Thanks so much!

Start with an cpanel+ Fantastico hosting account. Through cpanel you will be able to install a variety of CMSs (Content Management Systems) such as Joomla, PHP-Nuke etc. After that read through the CMS documentation and edit some templates(in html) to change the look. I think this would be the easiest way to start.

Can you tell me which host you would recommend? Seems to be a few with Fanastico... Also another question, if I'm running windows is it fine if I get linux hosting or that wouldn't work?

Thanks for the input, I've registed my domain at bluehost.com, for some reason midphase wasn't accepting my CC.

Ok, so now what would be the next step? Design some of the for the site? Install one of the scripts in Fantastico (which one)??

    Hi

Joomla or Mambo is great, but both of the sites you have identified look like they have some reasonably specific functions. You will probably not find the functions you are looking 'out of the box'.

You'll get close, but no doubt have to spend some time in the code getting some of this to do what you need.

You will also need to find your own template to suit, google 'joomla templates' to see what you get.

Try using Drupal (drupal.org) and the Acidfree media module. It's extremely easy to add and organize content like videos.
