Would like to enter the world of PPC

Hi i would like to try to advertise my forums via PPC. I have never used PPC advertising before so I am clueless as to what keywords and so forth that I would want to use. Any ideas on how to promote a dirt bike forum via ppc?

You'd do best to go about it with a good keyword tool as mistakes can get expensive.

 

Would it be wise to look at my more popular organic keywords and start building my list that way?
