Would like some help with godaddy and SSH

    Hello peeypuls,
    Okay, I am trying to install fantastico to cPanel via SSH (http://netenberg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=950), however, I am having problems logging in.
    I am able to login via SSH with one of the user account, but it will not let me login with the root account.
    Any ideas why??

    Cause root login might have been disabled for extra security...

    Yes , make sure that you have the "allow shell access" enabled :)

    When you say it wont login as root, do you mean you are trying to SSH in as root or do you SSH in as your user and then try to su to root? If its the former, try to SSH in as your administrator user they created for you at signup and then type "su -" and use the same password to see if it will let you in as root.
