Would like some great suggestion for increasing ranking to PR 6 - will pay

I am looking to increase my ranking from 2 to 6 in 6 months. I will pay for good suggestion that brings result or will pay if someone can do it for me. my site is free online classified and free online auction site. you can check it out and let me know if you can do . www.ubuysell.ca

I suggest you to forget your plan. PageRank still influance the ranking but websites are mainly sorted by relevance. If i were you i would rather concentrate on the relevant backlinks and i guess you will see some PR improvement as well as the side-effect of the links.

 

I would find a good social bookmarking service that has high pagerank in lower categories that are not full of spam.

 

Why bother? Just work on your site.

Or is your site just a link selling place? If not, a PR6 (compared to a PR 5, which can be done easily) is of little value.

Unless you're selling links, PR has nothing to do with earnings. Your site could be a PR 3 and make thousands a day.

 

Let me tell you something:

1) I started my blog in Dec 2006.
2) First update in Jan/Feb gave me PR 5. thats like only 1 month.
3) Second update in april got me PR6.

so now you know that everything is possible, just create good content. You know the most funniest thing, I DONT sell links to make money lol

Just build a site with great content and the pr will follow naturally

You need a site with good content, which actually provides some information / help for visitors, not just content. Lots of backlinks to support your content, don;t look for spammy links get limited but high quality links.
Now when are you paying me [All of us ]

Thank you all for great responses. I knew all the above but how I have been doing is some thing that hasn't work for me. I simply would go to high ranking blog and left comment in some articles and use my URL is linking back to my site, but this did not improve my ranking so far unless I have not done enough. Question is how do you find the relevant site that are PR 6 or higher and once you found them how to leave your linkback? I have myspace account and have added a blog that has backlink to my site but it didn't work either. I heard myspace it the best place but where do you use your backlink? In regards to good content!! My site is classified and auction site ubuysell.ca what content do I choose rather then Free listing ? There is not much else to do in regards to content is there?

You basically have 4 choices:

1) You buy some PR7-PR6 links

This will cost you 200-400$ per month

2) You exchange links

You contact webmasters and ask them to add a link, and you add a link too towards their site. To find sites, you use Google, or you try to analyze the backlink structure of your competitors. This is an interesting strategy, but try to limit it, as Google will analyze your backlink structure and if he sees that 90% of your links are reciprocal, they will find it fishy..

3) Natural linking strategies.

This is the way to go. People create links because your site presents valuable resources. The problem you will have, is that your site has little content and that you have big competitors. Maybe think about a contest or some other original way to attract attention.

4) Directories, articles, press releases, forums and blog posting

Those are the easiest links to get. However, it will take you a lot of links and time to get a PR6
