I just finished redesigning my site (visuals and service). I'm going for a "friendly and clean" look. I would appreciate comments and suggestions. http://imagebee.org
The top portion (LOGO + Menu) looks excellent!! But, the links in the middle look awful, it's hard to read and I think there's no need to highlight the text. Also, you may try blending the Ad unit or perhaps aligning it with the text on the left. Nice work in general B.
The background is a bit ackward. I would make it follow the scroll bars as you scroll down. Also for the grass... change the background to blue or transparent... instead of grey.
Bender I changed the background of the links to be white, I think it improves readability. Also 8everything the background of the grass is transparent, what browser are you using? The grass is meant to be fixed such that text can be partially hidden.
it is very cute except for your use of fonts. the bolding and various highlights don't help to navigate it, the line height is a bit tight, and the font is a bit small. and i know everyone is using those thumbnail pop-ups these days, but they kind of get in the way to be honest. but the graphics are nice.
Agreed, nice, clean, simple, cute, fonts need a bit of work. Maybe the links are small. Bright colours on white is a bad combo with regards contrast. But for what the site is, a link dump, it's fine.
very nice and clean. great design..very different. I like it. I'm using firefox 2.0 with no problems.
It looks great, but the design is somewhat confusing with the hard edges of the top portion of the site, and the fuzzy bit of the bottom portion.
