Would it be the Internet possible without Google?

Well, the natural response is yes, it would. But it would be an Internet without its best search engine, without Gmail, YouTube, Google Video, Google Reader, Picassa, Blogger, Orkut, Google Maps, Google Docs, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Chrome, Google Analytics, Google News, Google, Google, Google!

What a mess! It seems almost impossible to work without
    Google!

But it isn´t. That´s because - fortunately - for almost every service Google provides, there is an alternate service waiting to be discovered. So basically it all depends on your will to make a change.

Are we ready to give up all these services and start One day without Google?

I remember the internet before google ever went online,, so yes, life would be just fine without google. Before the year 2000, 2001, I jut used yahoo to find what I was looking for.

If youtube was not around, some other site would step up and take its place. Gmail???? I use yahoo mail.

Check your Google Analytics account and see what the bounce rate for google traffic is - mine is in the 50% range. Then go check the bounce rate for bing and yahoo - 20% - 25% range. In my opinion, google is a long way from even being a good quality search engine.

    Basicaly Google changed my life.

I use Gmail as my preffered email account also because of simplicity and Google Tasks.

I also use Chrome as preffer Web OS browser. Yes, I'm a Chrome fan boy.

I also use Google as primary search engine and I love every second about it.

I made my first real money online and went with a chick from college to the sea side with Google Adsense.

Many of the services owned by or operating under the Google banner were acquired by Google, but developed by someone else (poster child for that being YouTube.) So yes, naturally, the net would be just fine if Google went all, say, AOL, on us.

In order to meet the users, there must be some other tool out to instead of google. But it needs a long time to accept it for us.

Even Google trying to dominate internet world with their free services as listed above, "regular peoples" can still living on the internet without those services anyway. I have no doubt that most of free Google services are really useful such as Gmail / Google Documents / Adword / Adsense but most of them are benefits toward webmaster and internet marketer.

Please do not forget most of regular users on the internet, around 85%, are not like us. They are common peoples looking for something funny and hobby. They can go here and there and use anything they have seen.

The only peoples that cannot lives without Google is most of us, webmasters or internet marketer who do living from online business in one way or another.

No Google = No Adsense / No Affiliate / No Content Writing Services / No SEO consultant service / No ebook "how to make money online" / No popular webmaster forums / etc. :p

Another search engine or site would be doing the things Google's doing now if Google didn't exist. So, yup, there'd still be the internet and it'd probably have one dominant company by now, a lot like Google and people would probably be wondering what it would be like without them.

I'm sure if Google wasn't around, some other company would be doing the same stuff.

In my own experiences, I like Google since many Google services are excellent like searching, mail, reader and others though not all services from Google are top ranked.

    Thanks,
