It's my first blog. I started up adsense a few days ago, and I'm currently making something around $2 a day. This blog has only been up for two weeks. I want to be up to at least $200 a week through adsense. Would this be possible with the type of blog I have? Here's the link to my site: http://etblogdaily.blogspot.com
That will take an incredibly long time to build up. Just think of a click these days running between .005 and .20 on the norm. Now do the math and you will see that 200 a month is pretty difficult for your first blog out. You would need multiple blogs
With a start of 2$ a day you should be feeling proud enough, i earned 96$ from AdSense since December 2005 to date and its all from the directory i own My blog gives me hits but no clicks
Beast, if your blog is interesting enough for many repeat visitors, you won't need to have multiple blogs for $200/week. For instance, there's this blog about Grey's Anatomy which a LOT of people visit and every week they keep coming back for more, so if your readership keeps growing, your earnings goal is definitely achievable. Also, why don't you try putting some affiliate links to monetize your blog?
Hello ! All what matters today is content , try to add fresh content daily so readers will what to read every day your blog ! Try to create some threads which everybody is interested to read ! Im quite sure that if will be able to update it daily with fresh and unique content then you will see what Adsense can do for you Thanks Olgi
So, even though I'm not seeing any traffic now, I should continue on with my writing, keep trying to add fresh content, and eventually I'll begin to get some loyal readers?
But the question I'm really asking is, Will my blog be able to harness that much traffic? Would that many people read my blog everyday? Content aside (I can easily add more), is the one page format of the blog deterring traffic? Is it stopping them from being immersed in the site? Thank you for your advice so far!
Your blog seems well written, has a nice look and nice ad integration. If you continue to update it regularly, you could get traffic, repeat visitors and yes, money. Of course, nobody could predict accurately if your blog, or any website, can be a success, but it seems that yours can go further. Just don't think about money yet, focus on content and link building to drive traffic. After a couple of months you may be able to tell if it is worth continuing.
