Feedback Would it be possible to delete my posts and account, or change my time?

After a good 7 or so years on the internet of doing people favors and stuff, I feel it is time to move on and abandon my accounts for my own benefit. I feel sad that the time has come for it, yet I feel Digital Point cannot guarantee my safety.

You see, I now feel that, as long as I am online, people will not be able to leave me alone. I've had a lot of issues with people online and although I've tried to move on and forget it, I feel I can't and I'll always run the risk of further issues. I also feel that, some of these websites don't respect your decision when you say you want out.

I am not going to reflect on the reasons for this, as it doesn't concern Digital Point. I prefer to keep matters like this to private messages, but you only list Twitter as a contact.

I'm not interested in being a member of this site, for whatever reason it was I signed up in the first place. I also don't want to have to pay a lot of money for a name change when I wouldn't be posting.

I just simply want my accounts removed from all of these forums, so I can either start again or do nothing. I've had a lot of unhappy times on the net just like I've had lots of good ones. I've nothing against Digital Point, but I just feel that since I don't know the people here, I shouldn't be here.

I hope you can respect my decision, and not do what all those other forums did.

I don't think DP deletes posts and accounts so I'm not sure if what you want is possible. You can just simply walk away and don't come back to DP if you don't want to. You say that nobody knows you so I think nobody would even know you where even here. ;)

OK, fair enough. I guess I can see why you wouldn't want to lose members. However, I just hope "they" don't ever show up here. That would be annoying.

And by them, I mean people like from Encyclopedia Dramatica, etc.

Its not about losing members... it's about losing the context of threads if one party suddenly is wiped out.

You first raised this 190 days ago [link], yet since then you've started 4 more threads including one where you've even given your sister's email address - now removed - why would you do that?

I don't know anymore, quite frankly. Do with it whatever you want.

I recommend (if you want your account deleted) that you just never login again :)

That's what they all say. :)

Look, I've calmed down a bit since yesterday. I realize I blew things out of proportion. I've just been... nippy, lately. :)

    Pete.
