Would it be ill-advised to have other ads(i.e Google) on a Clickbank Landing Page?

Don't put any ads on your landing pages. Focus your visitors' attention on your desired action: click on the hoplink.
You're better off with a 1% conversion rate for $20/conversion rather than 10% CTR for $0.05/click.

Also, What's to stop your competitors using adwords to buy ad space to direct link to the product you're reviewing in that page.

yeah keep your main focus on the product you are selling. If you have an opt-in page then... maybe but if your selling something then keep the ads off.

why do you wish to place google ads?
they only pay per click where as clickbank links or ads pay you per sale.

Why would you want other ads on high commission product pages? They only time I use ads is on low commission products like under 10% where PPC clicks pay well.

Never do that if you want affiliates to promote your product. I refuse to be sending you paid traffic for it to be wasted on the likes of ad sense!

Thanks again for the fast replies everyone.

No one else need reply unless you have a different story.
