Would it be a nice thing to submit a High PR website in Low PR web directories?

    Hello All,

    I am have PR4 website and I am looking to submit in latest web directories. Please share your views that would it be a nice idea to submit this website in low PR web directories (PR0 , PR1) OR should I only submit this website to PR2+ web directories

    Do not use web directories.
    Firstly, you will lose much time.
    Secondly, your site will lose trust from Google.

    i thought that putting your link in directory sites is good but now i will be very very careful about pr of directories..

    Blog comments is very useful way to get good back links however your comment should be relevant and effective.

    Well, there is no harm in submitting to low PR directory... as long as it is not a junk directory.

    If you believe it is a reputed website, go ahead and submit your website.

    This is an incorrect statement. If this were true, you could just submit your competitors sites to directories and they would drop in the serps.

    These links do in fact help your site rank, but very very minimally. They will not hurt you.
