Would i get penalized for this?

    Hi, i have a site which is only a few weeks old but i want to buy a lot of ads on buysellads.com from sites that have a few million visitors, would i get penalized for this? im not advertising for the pr or link juice just for people to see my site and maybe visit it

    Do you mean as far as positioning with google?

    I don't see a problem.
    As far as we know google tries to identify when you're only buying space compared to buying links.

    Do you know about Google's new EMD update? I would recommend you to read it once after this update. They have mentioned about affiliate program and its effects.

    i just want to buy a place on peoples site and place my banner on there. Would google see this as buying paid links or something and penalize me for this?

    Buysellads is well known by Google as a legitimate source of advertising and promotion, they won't penalize you for using the network.

    For that i wud recommend you to buy an ad space directly from one's website. Dont go for buysellads.
    And regarding penalizing thing...no worries dude.

    guys at BuySellAds would simply rob you off .. find out sites where you
    want to post ads and then contact the administrators .. they would be
    happy to give you a small (to large) discount.Some of them would offer free promotion as a favour .. So don't simply buy things on BuySellAds .. "

    No need to worry, as the "links" you buy are nofollow links. You only have to worry if you start buying links on various sites that sell dofollow links.You will be just fine :)

    @onge..buysellads takes 30% as commission from ur money. While if you directly buy an ad space it will save you money definitely

    No you don't penlised using this type of add but you also ad some content in your site if you put only ad so google penalized you .

    You also ad some own content which is useful to another.
