It could, but it's not some magic wand granting you immunity. Given that the
domain name bears an arguably famous mark, you're going to have one heck
of a time explaining, to YouTube's satisfaction, why you registered it to begin
    with.

While you may not care, apparently the OP does. And the TM holder may not
care either how much it costs as long as it does what they want nonetheless.

Then again, it's easy not to care when one doesn't have that issue.

Let's see, trademarks are registered on "country" basis. They might be able to convince the registrar to remove the domain name, but I don't think they can sue anyone outside the country where they hold the trademark.

Don't get me wrong. Domain parkers and cyber squatters annoys me just like the rest of the guys here. On several occassions, I was trying to register a domain bearing my client's company name, but as it turns out, some evil entity out there already registered the domain name, and when I checked, it's nothing but a parked domain with links and other stuff.

When that happens, I have no other options but to brainstorm of some other domain names. Suing might be possible, but I think it's not worth it. I think the best option is for web designers and developers to advice their clients against buying parked domains. That way, the "industry" of domain parking would collapse.

But sometimes, when you feel you cannot do anything against certain practices, and noticed that nobody is being punished, ...cannot help it but to think... what if you joined that practice and earn a few bucks for yourself.

And then find out how and what it feels like being on that side of the fence,
which might not turn to be necessarily evil as some believe.

The questions that will be asked are: 1) whether the domain name <www.youtubee.tv> is confusingly similar to the YOUTUBE trademark; and 2) whether you are using the domain name in bad faith.
