Hi, I'm studying about payment processors in China. However, not much material is in English. So, I'd like to hire a Chinese person to explain to me about the history of payment processors in China, i.e. Alipay and Tenpay. You must have an ok command in English and good knowledge in the subject (You don't have to be a developer or anything, just someone who have used the service for many years and read news about the internet landscape in China is fine.) I'd like a rather detailed answer and analysis of the following questions: - I believe the market share is 49% Alipay and 20% Tenpay. How did Alipay grew to become the largest payment processor in China? What strategy did it use? Is it because Alibaba push Alipay to be the default payment system on Taobao? - What about Tenpay? How did it grew to the 2nd largest? How did Tencent help Tenpay grow? - Is there a strategic/major difference between Alipay and Tenpay? - Is there a strategic/major difference between Chinese payment gateways (Alipay, Tenpay, CUP,...) and Paypal? - Is there a major difference in user interface, e.g. web layout, buttons, content in each page, process (steps in each page) to send or receive money , between Alipay and Paypal? Or is there not much difference, just different web page design. - Is Paypal not available in China because of the government's regulation in 2010? - So is the government's regulation in 2010 preventing all foreign company from doing payment business in China? - It would be great if you can provide a few screen capture on the important pages of Alipay and Tenpay. I'm most interested in the first 2 questions. So, you see you have to write a bit of a detailed explanation here. If you think you are confident with answering these questions, then let me know about the compensation requested. I can afford to pay $15-$30 first. I will give you more extra money after I read the answers IF I find them to be very good analysis of the subject. (Let me know if you're exceptionally knowledgeable in this field and thinks the compensation is too low) However, do not offer a bid and then write a very poor answer to my questions. In an unsatisfied case, I will make a Paypal chargeback and you won't get the money. Thank you very much for reading.
