I have an image ad on the index of my image hosting site. The image is placed near other images. What would google think of this. the site: http://wildpix.org
Not entirely sure, but thats good optimization .. didn't even realise that was the ad untill I looked carefully.
Does this mean I can't place ads on pages with images? You can definitely place Google ads on pages containing images --just make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors. For example, if you run a stock photography site with a catalog of thumbnail images, don't line the ads up with the thumbnails in a way that could be misleading. Consider using a full border around your ads or changing your ad colors, for example. I have a gut feeling that they wouldn't. Those ads are misleading. You have to think about why Google said that they wouldn't allow images next to ads. They said that it could make the user think that it's something on your site, and it misleads them. Those images don't look like ads, I and another user was thinking that it was apart of your site. Then you removed the "Ads by Google," making it look like you went through extra measures to decieve your users. Just my 2 cents.
It's the pic on the left. I saw an ad for a B&B. The novice user would never think that was an ad, and would be thinking if they clicked on it, they would get a bigger version of the picture. Sounds like "confusing the visitor" to me, so I would get rid of that ad. JMHO
I am just wondering, how can u get same ad again and again. The ad placement is very good, as far as i know, google will not have any problem with this placement. Just wanted to know, how u get same ad everytime.
Yeah, how in the world do you keep getting the same ad? Amazing, I didn't see it until I refreshed the page a couple of times.
