Would facebook interfere with our privacy?

I have recently seen increasing amounts of people posting a long statement of the law saying that their facebook posts will not come into question if anything happens. Are our official documents going to be more and more through facebook and other social media? I read an article about lawyers approving documents via facebook now. Is this a good thing?

When you sign up with FB you also sign a contract with them that states several aspects, regarding privacy also. Furthermore it is the user's right to select which information about him will be displayed with other users. So if there is nothing too personal posted, there should not be any concerns. Official documents that are personal can be released online only if the owners wants to, so again no problems. If anyway these appear with the owners consent then that's a problem solvable by law.
