Hi Guys, Already doing well in the US for providing a catalog solution for new product marketers and inventors, wanted to know if UK also has the potential for mail order catalogs just like US? Thank you
Hi Jonathan, its not obvious what your product is or how I would benefit from it. I am from the UK so maybe you need to look at UK competition and the words they use
Will need to do some research really as sharpshooter said. There is the market, only if you can offer competitivly really, I am also from the UK.
I am not entirely sure what you do. I guess you send out catalogs...??? I am in the UK also. If that's what you do, then there are already companies here that do that. If I've misunderstood, then please enlighten me.
I work for a company and am in charge of marketing our free brochures site in the UK. PM me if you want any info.
There are, God knows how many millions of Internet users in the U.S. I never understood why some webmasters go to other countries.
I don't even get what your saying, and a search for catalog solution doesn't return any relevant results.
Thank you for your replies, I would elaborate my question. We get products made by inventors who want to kick start their sales. Imagine how a new inventor having low marketing budget would do if he wants to market his product to the audience. And would it possible to get his product the projection needed to make profits? by getting your products into mail order catalogs there is a huge possibility that it would reach the intended audience in bulk. Thank you
Nice idea, I would guess the main vehicle for distribution would be either the royal mail with a large mailing list etc or the Sunday Papers. With the piggy back route via Sunday Papers you can segment and target your offer very easily to traditional ABC1C2DE groupings however, I'm not convinced of the value of this method of segmentation. I live in the UK and would be happy to go through some of your ideas with you, talk about what you are offering in the US and se how it would fit within the UK culture and structure. As a qualified chartered marketer I am able and would be happy to look your ideas and provide advice on all aspects of entering the UK market if this would be of interest.
