I own a new blog and i'm posting new and interesting content everyday. I was wondering if Chikita will accept a new site with hardly any traffic yet? Thanks, Ratchet..
Let us know how it goes and if you are accepted. I think you have to be getting at least a small amount of traffic to get in, but then again, terms of service are so long that most people don't read it.=)
It does say on the signup page that A few months ago, I signed up for Chitika with a pretty new site (a few weeks old, at the most) and they approved me within a day. The trick is to write a detailed description of your site in the application form to tell them what your site is about and how you plan to grow interest in the site (tell them about some new features you plan to add to your site later, even if you haven't added them yet) in the future. Plus, just like Google Adsense, after they've approved your account, you can add the ads to any of your other sites (even the newest ones) that do not violate their Terms. You shouldn't have a problem if your site has a good appearance, usability, decent amount of content. You should know however, to really earn a significant amount of revenue with their service, you need to have a good amount of traffic from US/Canada that clicked through to your site from search engines as their main ads (Chitika Premium) only show to those users. You shouldn't have a problem. Good luck. Good Rep appreciated for the explanation if it helped you.
