Hi I have a printer-supply website with more than two thousand pages. Google was kind and indexed my homepage after about a year. Until recently I was busy to build my site but hopefully I can finish it in a few weeks. I will get a few hundred reciprocal links and perhaps buy some back links with good PR. But I am wondering if there would be any advantage of banner advertising for urging Google at least index my pages. I know banner ads have poor conversion rates but my goal would rather be the indexing by search engines. Do you guys think Google would index my pages if let's say a couple hundred banners would point to my site? Or do you know any easy and fast ways to get tons of back links to help my site get indexed? Thanks Laszlo.
Personally, I don't think the banner will help with google. They'll only be temporary links. You need to get lots of one way permanent links from quality on topic sites. Since you run a store, submit to my free Shopping Directory. Also submit to my free SEO friendly directory, and submit to everyone on the vilesilencer free SEO friendly list. Matt
I wanted to list my site but too got too many restrictions about the description. I tried five different ones but still did not go so I gave up.
