    hey there,
im in charge of setting up the family business website , which is probably not a good idea, I currently have Cubecart installed but it is not what I'm looking for. I want to set up a site where I am able to showcase our inventory (with details) and if the customer is interested they could contact the shop. I was thinking of using Wordpress for its simplicity, but I do not know if it will work. Any ideas, suggestions, etc?

thanks in advance, have a nice day

There is not much to review as far as design because its the default one that comes with CubeCart from what I can tell.

I think CubeCart could be perfect for what you are trying to do. Just modify the themes to included a "contact us" link instead of the "add to cart" button. I think it will be much easier to handle an inventory with a shopping cart script than a blogging script. If there is a shopping cart plugin for WP, maybe it might work!

I would just like to add that a little customization is in order as well. If you don't feel comfortable tweaking the design you can just port an ad here. You would get someone to help out in a split second.

So you don't want to sell online?

Maybe just keep cubecart and remove all the "add to basket" links and say in description "To Order Call (123) 456-7890".

    Just a thought.
